Summary of Donations to PAPYRUS

Our son, James, aged 18 committed suicide in late 1996 and, after searching for a suitable charity to support, we came across Papyrus which had just been formed in 1997. Donations we received from friends and family at our "in home" exhibition of his art raised a modest but substantial enough sum to make a difference to their early days. Payprus has now grown substantially and has a country-wide service to provide confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.
